Mokin Vitalii Borysovych

Vitaliy B. Mokin Head of the Department of CEEMEG, doctor of technical sciences, professor. Head of scientific research laboratory of ecological researches and ecological monitoring of VSTU (from its creating in 2000), leading scientific employee (second job), Director of the Institute of master, post-graduate and doctor degree study (starting from 2000).

Defended Doctoral Thesis "Mathematical and Geoinformation Models for Rivers' Water Monitoring and Controlling Over Processes of Their Purification" on the speciality 01.05.02 "Mathematical Simulation and Calculation Methods".

Is an adviser of the Chairman of the State Agency of Water Resources of Ukraine (on a voluntary basis).

During 2009-2010 was an adviser (out-of-staff) of the minister of environmental protection of Ukraine and adviser of Head of State committee of Ukraine on water sector (out-of-staff), was member of scientific-technical council of State Water Sector of Ukraine.

Is a member of the Scientific-technical council of the State Agency of Water Resources of Ukraine.

Is a member of Dnieper River Basin Council and an administrator of section of automation and adoption of geoinformational technologies into water resources control system at Dnieper River Basin Council (since 2011). Is a member of the Southern Bug River Basin Council and the Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council at it (since 2009). Is a member of the Desna River Basin Council.

Is a member of technical coordinating council of experts dealing with informatization under the chairman of Vinnytsia town council (since 2010). Is a member of advisory committee on sustainable energy-effective development of Vinnitsia town under Vinnitsia town council (since 2010).

Is an expert of UNDP/GEF project "Implementation of The Dnipro Basin Strategic Action Program for the reduction of persistent toxics pollution" from 2011.

Awarded an Honorable Commendation of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine #19831 from 28, April, 2010.

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Price Laureate for youth contribution to state building in the nomination "For scientific achievements" (Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine resolution #487, 21.06.2005). Exhibitioner of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Decree of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine #498-VI of 04.09.2008 "On assigning in 2008 inscribed scholarships of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for most gifted young scholars").

Awarded a badge "For scientific achievements" (Order of Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine #453-k of 15.05.2007).

Was approved by the European Commission as a senior expert on behalf of Ukraine on the Project TACIS "Transboundary River Basin Management. Phase 2: For Siversky Donets " and Transboundary River Basin Management. Phase 2: For River Pripyat in 2007.

Was a member of interagency task force on consideration of State Program of Environmental Monitoring of Ukraine (Order of the Minister of Environmental Protection of Ukraine #196 of 31.05.2005).

Is a member of Interagency commission of monitoring of environment of Vinnytsia region (since 2007).

Is a member of two doctorate councils in speciality 05.13.06 - "Informational technologies" and 01.05.02 - "Mathematical modeling and computational methods" in the Institute for Telecommunications and Global Information Space of NAS of Ukraine (Kiev) and in Vinnytsia National Technical University.

Prepared 3 PhDs, has 5 postgraduate students of the following specialties: 01.05.02 - "Mathematical modeling and computational methods" and 05.13.06 - "Informational technologies".

Supervises three post graduate students, three competitors for PhD degree in Engineering, Master students, Diploma and Bachelor papers.

Research sphere: theoretical basis for creation and software for realization of monitoring, simulation, prognostication, management and controlling over environment state; use of latest informational technologies, including GIS technologies.

As research supervisor carried out more than 30 scientific research works with a total financing of more than 2 000 000 UAH within the scope of financing of projects of UNO, European Commission, State Water Agency, State Ecology Inspection, Ministry of Nature, Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine, Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine and The Goverment of the Vinnytsia and Donetsk.

Author of more than 230 scientific works, including 5 monographs, 82 scientific works in specialized issues, 3 textbooks on monitoring of environment, 17 study and methodical textbooks (including stamped by a Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine), 28 certificates on registration of authors' rights for computer software and databases. Teaches the following subjects: "Geoinformation systems and technologies", "Geoinformation systems of Ecologic Monitoring" for students of the speciality "Ecology, Environmental Protection and Balanced Nature Use" and "Intellectual Systems of Decision Making".

Is a member of jury of International competition of young users of GIS from ERSI. Supervises the direction of the university FPK on latest computer technologies on work with geoinformation package "Karta 2000/2011" ("Panorama 7/11") - the largest in Ukraine training center.

Supervises the direction of the university FPK on latest computer technologies on work with geoinformation package "Karta 2005" ("Panorama 9") - the largest in Ukraine training center. Has been preparing the new direction of training to operate with geoinformation package "ArcGIS9".

Svetlana V. Bevz

Subhead of MA course of Institute MPGDDS, Ph.D., docent.

In 1996 she graduated from MA course of Vinnytsia State Technical University (VSTU), the name of her specialty was “Power stations”. After that she was enrolled in the postgraduate course. In 1999 she defended her thesis “Development of criterion modeling tools” on the specialty 01.05.02 – "Mathematical modeling and computational approaches".

Scientific activities: mathematical modeling, criterion prognostication of optimal control, automation of optimal control of normal modes of electric system, reliable performance of power station and electric system equipment, scientific basis of automatic data processing for control of master training.

She writes her doctoral thesis.

Since January 2002 she works as Subhead of MA course of Institute MPGDDS.

Bevz V. Svetlana teaches mathematical subjects and subjects connected with programming and computer engineering.

She has 120 published works, including 37 published works in scientific periodicals, 6 textbooks, 7 certificates of state registration of copyrights of computer programs, 9 reports of scientific research work.
